Generic firewalls block bad traffic, but they do not fix bad code. Patchstack is my “Supply Chain Security” unit. It focuses specifically on the vulnerabilities found within the WordPress plugin and theme ecosystem.

Its “Virtual Patching” technology is the architectural differentiator. When a vulnerability is discovered in a plugin I use, Patchstack applies a security rule to block distinct exploit attempts targeting that flaw before the plugin developer even releases an update. It protects the site during the critical window of exposure. It gives me visibility into the security status of every component in the stack. It is proactive defence against the specific weaknesses of the WordPress dependency tree.
