Visualising a website structure using static spreadsheets or standard flowcharts is inefficient. Octopus.do is my “Rapid Prototyping Architect.” It allows me to build the visual sitemap and the low-fidelity wireframes simultaneously in a single, lightning-fast interface.

I use it to validate the Information Architecture (IA) with the client before any code is written. Its “content block” system allows me to estimate the density of each page visually. This creates a shared reality between the design team and the stakeholders. It turns the abstract concept of a sitemap into a tangible product roadmap. It is the fastest way to move from a rough idea to a structural blueprint.
